The
Lineage principals have been working with closely-held businesses for
over a decade and have an intimate understanding of
the unique
issues facing these firms. The firm’s bias towards senior investment
professionals guarantees that each investment receives high level
firm commitment. One of Lineage’s four founding principals is
the primary contact for each investment, enabling value added contribution
and ensuring
quick decision making. In addition with the principals’ experience
as investors, consultants and operators, we bring insights and resources
to assist the management team in growing the business.
Before closing, we collaborate with the owner/management team to develop
a strategic plan and implement incentive programs that align the interests
of all stakeholders to create equity value. After closing, we work with
the owner/management team to execute the business plan, identify and facilitate
the completion of acquisitions, strengthen the company's board of directors,
as appropriate, and serve as a thought partner to enhance value while
leaving day-to-day operating decisions to management. We are accustomed
to playing an active role, when necessary, to provide additional support
to the management team or a less active role when our support is not needed.

contacts, strategic relationships and other business and financial resources.
